Here are some more examples
This is where you configure the BI screens and which ones you want to show up and if you want them to show up upon startup.
Here is an example of the BI side the configuration page so you can how they are connected.
This shows you the details on how to configure a image, snipit etc.
1 shows you ROW and COLUMN so in this example it is the 4 images DOWN from the TOP and it is in the 2nd COLUMN.
Display Startup if this is checked then when ever you login it will show the BI information on your startup screen.
2 Shows the Screen Title on the page, it also tells you what field type is being displayed, all the Graph are charts like this is a pyramid that is displaying on the screen. and to be exact is is showing F12_Pyramid on the Chart Name.
3 is the chart name, that uses the data set sql information and sends that information to the chart.
examples of the chart names are below
4 The dataset SQL is very important because each chart requires a specific set of information to send to it so you should look at the examples and then change the date or other information based upon what you want to see.
Each Chart Name image is looking for a specific data format and a specific field name.
So in this example it selecting Cust_name that is the customer name field to display on the chart and per_amount field is the amount of saels that customer had for the year, month, etc
then its expecting it to be grouped and ordered properly and if you have many customers you want limit it to the top so many customers, items, sales, etc.
Select information from summary tables is faster and will not slow down the system.
So in this example of the top 10 customers…..
SELECT cust_name , Round(SUM(amt_sales),2) as per_amount FROM ar_cust_summary WHERE date_year = 2007 or date_year = 2008 or date_year = 2018 or date_year = 2019 GROUP BY cust_id ORDER BY per_amount DESC LIMIT 0 , 10
and it will send that information via xml to the chart name and display it on the screen.
5 size of the image, you do not want to make it too small and also you do not want to make it too large.
